Principal's Message
Greetings Hirsch Community
As we embark on a new 24-25 school year, it's with great excitement and anticipation that we welcome you back to Hirsch Metro High School. Whether you're returning students or new faces to the school community, we are thrilled to have each of you here. This year promises to be filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement.
We are looking onward and upward to a positive school year. Our theme this year is “Change the Narrative to Shift the Culture”. What does this mean? In order to receive the positive, the good, reap the benefits - we must speak it into existence and act accordingly to have the peaceful, progressing, and prosperous culture we want at Hirsch HS.
To our parents: Your support and partnership are invaluable. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and personally. I hope to increase parent participation in attending school activities, parent workshops, and have a voice in the academics of your Husky student(s). In return, tell us what you need that the school can possibly assist.
To Our Students: students: Your dedication to learning and your unique talents are what make our school community vibrant and dynamic. We encourage you to embrace challenges, explore new interests, and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.
We will continue with the following priorities:
1. Creating a safe and supportive school culture.
2. Improving literacy rates for all students.
3. Creating relevant experiences, both in and out of the classroom, to help students gain hope and agency in improving their personal circumstances.

I would like to see not only our academics improve but our athletic teams as well to offer opportunities to be scholar-athletes. As a result, I hope more students will join athletic teams and others come out to support with spirit.
